Time Crisis 3 [FREE - PS2]







At E3 last May, Namco was showing off the new GunCon-enabled Time Crisis 3 without any guns. Apparently, the coding for the light guns wasn't completed at the time of E3. As such, it was hard to get a feel for how the game would actually play using nothing but Dual Shocks.

Well, after a long wait, the much anticipated third chapter in the Time Crisis series is now available for the PS2. After getting a chance to play this new chapter for almost a week, I must say that they have done a lot to improve the already enjoyable GunCon shooter.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Time Crisis line, I'll catch you up to speed. Alan Dunaway and Wesley Lambert are two of the most respected agents for a top secret organization called the VSSE. In this edition of TC, the evil Commander in Chief of the Zagorian army, Giorgio Zott, invades the small Mediterranean country of Lukano. Though the Lukano Liberation Army fights hard, they are pushed back by the might of the Zagorian army. The VSSE sends in Alan and Wesley to stop Zott along with the tactical missiles he's set up in Lukano. Alicia Winston, from the Lukano Liberation Army, shows up to help the duo, both to stop the madman and to free her brother, Daniel, who is being held captive by Zott.

Gameplay

The gameplay in TC3 is built around the GunCon light gun, unless you use your Dual Shock controllers. I don't recommend using the Dual Shocks for this game, because they're just not as fast as moving your gun and firing, which is very important as every section has a time limit. The actual controls are very similar to the previous TC games, in that they have a crouch button which allows you to hide and reload your gun and a basic trigger for firing whatever type of gun you have activated. Because of improvements in the GunCon2 and its controls in this game, you actually only need to use one hand, rather than the two handed method that the first Time Crisis required.

One neat addition that Time Crisis 3 uses is multiple guns that can be chosen at any time. Just crouch behind cover and pull the trigger a few times to scroll through your available weapons until you find the one you want, and then pop out and get the drop on a couple of bad guys. This is a huge improvement over previous versions that gave you new weapons as you acquired them, and you could only use them for as long as your ammo lasted. Now you can think of boards a lot more preparedly, and stockpile certain weapons until you need them. Save the machine gun for those busy areas or the grenade launcher for the big machines and tanks.

Another addition that they've added to the new game is a sniper mode. Only available in the Rescue mission-the one player unlockable story where you play as Alicia Winston to go rescue her brother-the sniper mode is actually really cool. While they add an additional button you have to push in order to make it work, you can still pull the sniper mode off one handed. Basically, you push either the A or B buttons to zoom in on an area of the board, and then can finely tune the scope by using the direction arrows on the butt of the GunCon controller. Once you're circling a bad guy with the scope, you aim the gun at him and snipe him. While it sounds a little complex and takes a little getting used to, it actually works pretty well and is an appropriate amount of difficulty to simulate a real sniper rifle.

The only downside to the gameplay, overall, is a design issue with the GunCon2. A very comfortable weapon, it mimics the handling of a gun very well…but it has NO kick. There's no Dual Shock engine or anything like that in the gun, which, while consistent with the arcade, would have been nice.

Depende do tamanho do jogo manow se for maior q 700 megas já tem gravar em DVD do lado do nome do jogo tem se ele é em cd ou dvd (tamanho do jogo) sakou??

pra gravar os jogos em CD o jogo tem que ser um jogo feito em Cd , mesmo que seja um game que tenha menos de 700mb mas é um jogo que foi lançado em dvd , a gravação terá que ser feita em DVD!

a grande maioria é em dvd , pra gravar vc pode usar o nero ou alcohol120% .
tem que sempre gravar na menor velocidade possivel (2x ou 4X)!
